A total lunar eclipse occured on August 28, 2007 from 1:54 am to 5:24
am PDT. Approximately 150 people viewed the eclipse from the UCI
Observatory. Photographer Gar Travis took the following pictures as the
eclipse progressed, and we thank him for sharing the photos with us. He
used a Canon EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS UMS lens with a variety of ISOs
and exposure times. These picutres were taken from 0:54 to 3:04 am.
