 Purpose
LANN
members work in the
areas of nanowire synthesis, nanowire electronic device integration,
and nano applications. By collaborating between disciplines and
among universities, we work to speed each other's efforts
identifying and solving critical problems in nanowire research.
Our immediate goals include improving communication across
universities, providing opportunities for interdisciplinary research,
and enhancing joint research efforts. |

Meetings
To help achieve our goals, LANN researchers meet regularly to share
information, research ideas, and techniques. We also sponsor an annual
all-day workshop where postdoctoral researchers and graduate students
can meet to share their ideas and results.
The LANN 2004 Workshop was held at UCLA on Friday, July 23, 2004, with 65 researchers contributing talks and posters.
