If you are flying to Southern
California, the Orange County John Wayne Airport (SNA, also called
Santa Ana)
is the most convenient airport to UCI. It is a 10-minute
drive or taxi ride from campus. The Atrium Hotel is across
the street.
If you are flying from the East Coast or abroad, you will find more
non-stop flights to LAX, about
40 miles from hotel and campus. Long
Beach airport (LGB), which is about 20 miles from hotel and campus,
is
serviced by Jet Blue from Dulles, JFK, and Boston.

It is not necessary to rent a car.
The Atrium Hotel offers shuttle service to campus. However, some find
it
convenient to rent a car in order to better get around the area.
On arrival, you can call the hotel to
request a
shuttle, or take a taxi directly to the UCI campus.
Ground
Transportation from Los Angeles International (LAX) Airport:
Participants can utilize the Super Shuttle Service. Reservations
are not necessary - the Super Shuttle vans
run frequently. After
you have claimed your baggage, proceed to the shuttle bus areas, and
you will
