ABSTRACT:

The status of beyond standard model physics searches with current neutrino detectors will be discussed. The focus will be on indirect searches for dark matter using neutrinos, which have resulted in tight bounds on spin-dependent scattering of dark matter with nucleons and placed lifetime limits of 10^28s for scenarios with decaying dark matter. The discovery potential at next generation neutrino detectors will be evaluated by focusing on PINGU/Gen2 and Hyper-Kamiokande (including the option of placing a second Hyper-Kamiokande detector in Korea).
