Mathematica Crash Course for Transfer Students
Students who take lower division math at UCI learn to use Mathematica
in the Physics 50 course. The purpose of this crash course is to introduce
transfer students to Mathematica so that they can successfully complete
homework assignments in Classical Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism
in their junior year. We recommend that, if at all possible, you purchase
a student version of Mathematica (available at the UCI bookstore) and load
it on your computer. For more information about the student version of
Mathematica click here.
(Alternatively, you may use one of the computers in our computer lab during
Welcome Week.) Once you have installed Mathematica, complete the homework
assignments.
