Dwarf Halos with Self Interacting Dark Matter (Elbert+2014)

We investigate the effect of self-interacting dark matter (SIDM) on the density profiles of dwarf dark matter halos using very high-resolution cosmological zoom simulations. The range of SIDM nmodels that alleviate problems with standard CDM on dwarf scales spans at least two orders of magnitude and therefore need not be particularly fine-tuned.
