I am a theoretical astrophysicist currently employed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA, through a NASA Postdoctoral Program fellowship. I started in this position in January 2010. Before that, I was finishing my thesis work at the Unversity of California, Irvine under the guidance of James Bullock. My research interests are mostly focused on comparing observations with theory by utilizing cosmological simulations of structure formation under LCDM cosmology (either "dark matter only" simulations, or those with treatment of star formation and gas physics).
