Teaching Resources for Physics & Astronomy TAs.Welcome! These pages are meant to assist TAs in becoming more effective teachers. Keep in mind that “teaching” involves many skills. TAs not only have to explain the motion of a block on an inclined plane, but they are also confronted with issues of body language, vocal patterns, group dynamics, authority, etc. every time they step into the classroom.Just as with physics, the best way to improve your teaching is to practice and (very importantly!) receive feedback and suggestions. These pages may not have all of the answers you are seeking, but they should help provide information of where you can find the answers. Please feel free to contact me about anything you see here or teaching in general. ![]() |
