Aaron Barth is an observational astronomer who carries out research on supermassive black holes, quasars and active galactic nuclei (AGN). His research uses observations from UC facilities including the Keck Observatory and Lick Observatory, and from national and international facilities including Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope Network, the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array, and the Hubble Space Telescope.
