Novel Liquid NMR Techniques


We are designing new multi-dimensional liquid NMR experiments for the best use of high resolving power of FDM/RRT. We have developed Singlet- HSQC, Singlet-TOCSY, full-sweep CT-HSQC, full-sweep CT-HNCO, etc. Processed with FDM/RRT, we are able to obtain very high resolution with shorter (sometimes, much shorter) experimental time. With the new constant time experiments, we are able to obtain fully resolved spectra with extremely short constant time, which is particularly useful for big proteins as they relax very fast. The experiments will be very useful for studying the structure of large molecules such as proteins. However, the most exciting results are yet to come ....
