  Problem for thought:  As you throw a six sided die you don't keep track of the probability each number comes up but    only of the average;  for an honest die, this average is, of course, 3.5.  However, for the die you are throwing this average turns out to be 3.  What probabilities would you assign to each of the six sides of coming up?
