UCI Physics Outreach Events

This program was started in the early 90s by Bill Heidbrink and John Rosendahl. It grew under NSF support (which ended in 2009) to reach a group of over 10,000 school students each year, while providing a first hand experience of teaching and public speaking for 40 or so science undergraduates each year.

Beginning in 2013, a new program began, consisting of:

• Assemblies for elementary schoos, presented by Cal Teach Undergraduates
