Abstract: I will discuss ongoing efforts to understand the structure of

amplitudes involving nuclei with an eye towards particle physics

phenomenology.  This program of research is motivated by near-term

experiments including DUNE, T2K, CEvNS, Mu2e, LDMX, NA64, and tests of

first-row CKM unitarity violation. I will focus largely on QED

corrections, and how using effective field theory techniques can

simplify calculations.
