ABSTRACT:

Pseudo-Dirac fermions are  fermions whose mass terms nearly conserve a $U(1)$ symmetry, resulting in a pair of nearly degenerate Majorana fermions.  If the mass splitting is sufficiently small then oscillations of the U(1) charge may occur. I  discuss work in progress on oscillations of decaying pseudo-Dirac fermions, and possible CP violating phenomena.
