Abstract:
There are recent anomalies in tree level and loop induced semileptonic B decays known as the R_Dand R_K puzzles. After introducing the anomalies I will consider a simultaneous explanation of both the R_D and R_K puzzles and discuss how such a framework can be tested. I will then consider light new physics for the R_K puzzle and discuss its implications in other sectors.
