Abstract:
A suite of 10-kton-scale neutrino experiments is coming online, with their primary goals being completing the standard neutrino oscillation paradigm.  Theoretical inputs are critical to ensure these experiments will deliver the promised science results as well as carry out important measurements that are not in the existing physics program.  In this talk, I will discuss two examples of my work along these lines.  First, on understanding GeV neutrino-nucleus cross sections, which is critical to the primary program.  Second, on proposing to measure solar neutrinos in DUNE, which could significantly add to the program.
