UCI Professor Michael Dennin Elected as a 2021 American Physical Society (APS) Fellow

Congratulations to UCI Professor Michael Dennin, who has been elected a 2021 Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) for outstanding contributions to his field.

The APS Fellowship Program was created to recognize members who may have made advances in physics through original research and publication, or made significant innovative contributions in the application of physics to science and technology. They may also have made significant contributions to the teaching of physics or service and participation in the activities of the Society.

Citation: For positively impacting educational policy at the national, state, and campus levels, and for work as an ambassador for physics through outstanding communication and popularization of the ideas and applicability of physics in numerous public forums, and through extensive media appearances.
