Seven UC Irvine researchers have been named fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
Among the most recently named is Professor Andrew Lankford. UC Irvine now has 160 AAAS fellows.
Andrew Lankford, Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Physics and Astronomy - for leadership on physics and collider detector technologies that resulted in the discovery of the Higgs boson and charge-parity violation in the decay of bottom mesons.
