ABSTRACT:
The FermiLAT data show a smoking-gun signature of dark matter annihilation in the galactic center. I will describe how the signature of mono-chromatic photons was seen, and sift through the evidence in support of and against the dark matter hypothesis. I will discuss potential instrumental effects, the lack of continuum emission, and the curious fact that the photons come from a region slightly offset from the galactic center.
