ABSTRACT:

The three well-known see-saw mechanisms may be derived by "opening up" (UV completing) the Delta L=2 Weinberg operator LLHH in all possible minimal ways at tree-level.  A systematic approach to Majorana neutrino mass models based on higher mass-dimension Delta L=2 effective operators will be described.  These necessarily lead to a radiative origin for neutrino mass, and the new physics can be, and is being, searched for at the LHC.
