ABSTRACT:

I will discuss work in progress to characterize the latitude-dependent spectrum of the Fermi Bubbles, which has uncovered a spectral feature peaking at a few GeV and appearing at low Galactic latitudes. This feature appears spectrally similar to an excess previously identified in the Galactic Center, which has been put forward as a possible signature of dark matter annihilation. The current work may constitute a new detection of this signal at much larger Galactocentric radii. I will also discuss the high-latitude spectrum of the Fermi Bubbles, and their possible relation to the Galactic Haze emission observed by WMAP and recently confirmed by Planck.
