ABSTRACT:
The simplest extension of the Standard Model of particle physics is to add a scalar gauge singlet. While this is the simplest extension, it is none-the-less well-motivated and quite generic in new physics scenarios. The addition of a scalar singlet leads to surprisingly interesting phenomenology for Higgs boson processes. I will give an overview of these types of models and highlight interesting consequences at hadron colliders, with an emphasis on double Higgs production.
