ABSTRACT:

Model-independent searches in the LHC data may uncover hints of something unexpected, providing a good complement to optimized, model-dependent searches. Recent searches at ATLAS for events with three or more leptons and like-sign leptons use the full 2011 LHC dataset
of nearly 5 /fb to search for signs of new physics. No excesses are observed. Rather than focus on one particular model, the information needed to set limits on a wide range of models is provided.
