ABSTRACT:
In this talk, I will present two well-motivated models of new physics, and their im- plications at the LHC. The first one is in the context of left-right symmetric mirror model which solves the strong CP problem, in addition to explaining the low energy parity violation and generating tiny neutrino masses. The 2nd one is in the context of parallel universe which solves the dark matter problem in addition to explaining the charge quantization. The first model has few hundred GeV mirror quarks, q′ which can be observed as a (q Z) resonance at the LHC. The 2nd model has a second light Higgs almost degenerate with the observed Higgs, and can be tested measuring the invisible decay modes of the Higgs boson at the LHC, and more easily at the proposed ILC.
