ABSTRACT:
Feynman diagrams and integrals introduced in 1948 are the computational core of Quantum Field Theory. We shall describe a new and general method to evaluate Feynman Integrals, where the integral’s parameter space is foliated by the action of a symmetry group G, and its dependence within a G-orbit is reduced to a line integral over simpler, propagator-contracted diagrams. The group depends only on the diagram topology, and the diagram parameters consist of the masses and the kinematical invariants. Relations with the ongoing revolution in perturbative Quantum Field Theory known as Scattering Amplitudes will be discussed.
