NOvA Collaboration Meeting at UC Irvine

Date:
Thursday, February 13, 2020

UCI Professor Jianming Bian hosted the NOvA Collaboration Meeting at the University of California, Irvine, Thursday, February 13th - Sunday, February 16th, 2020
The NOvA experiment is the flagship neutrino program in the US. The primary physics goals of the NOvA experiment are the ordering of neutrino mass eigenstates and the neutrino CP phase angle, two fundamental particle physics problems.  The international NOvA collaboration is made up of more than 240 scientists and engineers from 51 institutions in seven countries. The UCI long-baseline neutrino group, led by Professor Jianming Bian, plays a key role in the NOvA experiment.
